Hello everyone

I have just had a conversation with Anne Meadows, one of our local councillors. The three conservative councillors are annually allocated £1000 each to spend on local communities in their ward. They have decided this year to very generously give each of the three Patcham Allotment Sites £1000 each. As we don't have a bank account  Anne is contacting BHAF who will hopefully keep the money for us when it is donated in April. It is up to us what we spend our £1000 on so let me know if anyone has any ideas and we can discuss. The only thing that Anne would like is a photo at some stage.

The other thing we discussed is the Post Office proposal to relocate their sorting office to the Old Court farm site. We will definitely be affected by the extra traffic which will be 24 hours, lack of personnel parking which will mean they park anywhere they can find locally and all the extra noise, traffic and pollution the site will generate.

There is a petition circulating for anyone to sign and there will be an opportunity to write to the planning dept at the council in due course if anyone wants to do so. The petition can be found here: brightonhoveconservativecouncillors.com

Have a lovely weekend
