Happy New Year!

it is that time of year---- time to order manure --- which will be delivered when the weather improves!
Jo has circulated an email - but informed that in the future she won't be able to do this ---- the rules have changed

So maybe this is how we will need to communicate in future

HAPPY ALLOTMENTING

Hi Clare and Becky
Great to see you at the forum.
Why is Jo not able to send communications in future? Council rules I guess. I notice that they are also talking about imposing a £25 a year levy to all allotment holders for administration..

Reference manure, do you think the plot needs manure every year?

I was down in Lancing yesterday and collected a couple of bags of seaweed to use instead. Any good do you think?

I don't know about seaweed. In theory yes its a great idea but in practice may be too much of an effort to be worth it. I think it needs washing to get the salt off.

I have one bag so I'll see how much hassle it is before deciding whether to collect any more
